How do I know if I have dry skin or oily skin?

On any given day where your skin is relaxed and in its best natural state (not sweating, sun damaged or treated), find some cosmetics mineral powder and dab a very fine amount on the tip of your nose.

If most or all of the mineral powder falls off your nose, then you are likely to have dry skin. If the mineral powder disappears on your nose, then the excess oil on your skin absorbed the powder which likely means that you have oily skin.
